AEW Collision Recap – 10/11/2025

By Jen RozenOctober 11, 2025
AEW Collision Recap

It’s Saturday, and you know what that means!!! AEW is back with a Homecoming edition of AEW Collision! This is another loaded episode that I can’t wait to dive into via my AEW Collision Recap!

With that in mind, let’s start the AEW Collision Recap!

Kota Ibushi Josh Alexander

The first match was between Kota Ibushi and Josh Alexander. The match started out slow and methodical. Don needed to stay back…and apparently drink water throughout the match. Josh was giving a beating on Kota’s leg. The scary part of the match was when Josh performed a fireman’s carry on the second rope and Ibushi fell out of the ring. Doc Sampson was on the scene, and Josh won with a countout.

After the match, Mark Davis ran out to attack Ibushi. I’m glad he’s back from his injury. Kenny came out for the save. He took care of Mark and gave a V-trigger to Josh. Let’s gooo!

This match was bittersweet because I’ve heard about Ibushi’s injury. He’s fought so hard to come back from his double ankle injury last year and a shoulder injury in 2021. Let’s give him our well-wishes for his recovery. We’ll wait for you, Golden Star!!!

Anthony Bowens Max Caster Big Bill Bryan Keith

The next match was between Max Caster and Anthony Bowens vs Big Bill and Bryan Keith. Rather than working as a team, Max and Anthony were still wrestling as individuals. They were playing “tag you’re it” in their corner and shoved each other constantly. There was a scissor tease spot. Would they do it…? Of course not. The fans were getting into the chant, “LET’S GO MAX YOU’RE THE BEST WRESTLER ALIVE.” It’s hilarious how that got over. Somehow, the duo won again. These two could give Takeshita and Okada a run for their money for zero team cohesion. A far from how…Acclaimed…they once were.

Backstage, the Bang Bang Gang was rudely interrupted by Big Bill and Bryan Keith. It looked like they were trying to set up a match in the future. Let Ace Austin wrestle! He’s inevitable, dang it!!!

Tay Melo Anna Jay

TayJay was the third match against Dream Girl Ellie and Carolina Cruz. TK is really trying to push the TayJay storyline to be the women’s first AEW tag team champions. TayJay ended up with a W with a Gory Special to a Knee combination.

We still don’t know when the tag team tournament for the women’s titles will be, but hopefully, it’ll become a little clearer after WrestleDream.

Lexi was backstage with the Conglomeration. Roddy wanted a piece of Claudio. That would be an interesting match.

Triangle of Madness Toni Story Kris Statlander Harley Cameron

The fourth match was between Timeless Toni Storm, Harley Cameron, and Kris Statlander vs Triangle of Madness. There was some tension forming between Toni and Kris Straplander, which makes sense, given their impending title match. Syke Blue was getting a lot of time, and she deserves it, given how much she’s improved. After a back-and-forth match, Thekla was able to spear Harley for the win.

I’m glad the Triangle of Madness is getting some key wins. They need to balance things out with them and the others in the division so that they don’t become “continual losers” leading into the tag title tournament and Blood & Guts.

Kenny expressed his anger with Don beating up Ibushi. Jack Perry walked in the door to apologize for the past. Would Kenny trust him? Kenny will test Jack’s forgiveness on next week’s Dynamite.

Don’t do anything rash, Jack! We just got you back on the side of the light!!!

Since Mercedes turned down, Harley asked Kris backstage to tag with her in the future. Is this a clue for things to come? We shall see…

MxM TV was back for another casting call. It seems as though MxM was replacing Max Caster’s gimmick. It’s fun to see Mansoor get Arkady involved in the storyline. She had mentioned that she wanted to do more. So, who would step up to face MxM tonight? LFI answered the call!

I digged Mortos’ shades.

Beast mortos

Was this a tornado match? It felt like it. Sammy pinned Mansoor with a Swanton from the top rope. I think Sammy had some whiplash from the landing. MxM needed to bring the Seed for their next opponents.

Right after the match, Eddie made his way to the ring and faced Beast Mortos.

Eddie Kingston The Beast Mortos

It’s time to take the shades off Mortos. This was a good test to see if Kingston could handle a beast and maintain his three-match winning streak. Eddie chopped Mortos so hard that his shoulder was in pain. He followed it up with a tope to the outside, which Eddie doesn’t typically do! Both wrestlers were hungry, so they were biting each other. Eddie secured the win after an Exploder and a Uraken. His win streak continues…but where is this heading with LFI and Hook?

A brawl ensued backstage, as Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata had their revenge by attacking the Triangle of Madness. Blood and Guts can’t come soon enough.

As if all that wasn’t enough, Shibata did his “Speak-And-Spell” trick to challenge LFI for the AEW trios titles next week! The twist? LFI can use “any combination” of their talent. Opps vs. LFI should COOK…if done properly.

FTR Megan Bayne vs Willow Nightingale Jetspeed

Megan Bayne and FTR vs Willow Nightingale and Jetspeed was the main event. Willow and Jetspeed worked well together. She wasn’t afraid to mix it up with FTR. Bayne was no slouch either as she took it to all of them. She also did a Tope and a suplexed Speedball on his head! The crowd ate it up when Willow rained chops and forearms on FTR. Penelopes tried to intervene but was pounced. Thanks for coming!

Penelope assisted Megan with a Doomsday Device to pin Willow. This was a great mixed tag match! If you didn’t know, Tony Khan used to never do matches like these. But now, between AEW and ROH, they’re becoming more common. I approve!

After the match, Megan was going to powerbomb Willow, but Harley came out with a chained guitar for the save. And that’s how the show ended. Would Willow be Harley’s tag team partner? How many women are willing to “Feel The Wrath” in AEW? The world may never know…

Well, that’s a wrap! What did you think of the show? Leave your comments below about it and my AEW Collision Recap!
