New Independent Light Novel Final Hope Launches

By Josh PiedraMay 1, 2017
Final Hope

Final HopeA new independent light novel entitled Final Hope, written by The Outerhaven’s own, Joshua Piedra, has officially launched!  The project was conceptualized in 2010 and was originally scheduled to be a manga; however, it was decided that it would be written as a light novel instead. In November 2015, writing of the novel began and it was completed in mid-April 2017.  This past weekend on April 28, Final Hope launched on Amazon.com and Kindle in a digital format.

This is Josh’s debut light novel and is part one of a two volume series.  The writing for volume two is currently underway.

The story of Final Hope is as follows:

At 24 years of age, Mikomi Saigo inherits Onyx Technology Ventures from his late father.  Mikomi completes his father’s work in developing an advanced artificial intelligence that would blur the lines between machine and humans.  Before Mikomi could reap the benefits, he is murdered in the parking lot of his company until a miracle occurs.  A Custodian of Time named Sebastian saves Mikomi’s life, but does so by sending him ten years into the past, giving him a second chance.  Now as a 14-year-old boy just starting high school, Mikomi must relive the last ten years of his life to find the identity of his killer, but the more changes he makes, the more the world responds to those changes!

The digital version of Final Hope is available for $4.99 while the physical version is available for $12.99.

You can pick up a copy of the book here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1521315779

And yes, this news story was penned by the author of the book. Shameless plug, much? Absolutely!
