Altus is giving us a peek at another powerful character, Nekone in their latest teaser trailer for Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception releasing this coming summer. Though she is just a child, her actions in the game will surely prove how gifted she is in combat and as a great healer. Take a look at the trailer below!

Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception is packed with hours of gameplay placing the player in the beginning of a mysterious and truly unique story. Players will build deep relationships with those around you and battle dangerous enemies as Haku, the game’s protagonist.

The game’s battle system provides a refreshing mix of turn-based tactics with attack chain mechanics, making this SRPG game full of exciting combat! In addition to the storyline and battles, fans of anime and visual novels will surely enjoy this game and its beautiful art style.

While there is much going on in this game, keep in mind that this is only the beginning, setting up a much bigger story that leads to the thrilling conclusion in Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, expected to release later this year.

Utawarerumkono: Mask of Deception will release this summer on May 23 and is available for pre-order today! It will be released in the Americas exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and Vita systems in both physical and digital formats.
