A user over at /r/Nintendo, DigitalHypnosis, was lucky enough to find the Nintendo Joy-con Wheel for sale at a Walmart store. Apparently, the store didn’t get the memo that it wasn’t supposed to be for sale.Yet, DigitalHypnosis had no issues purchasing the wheel for $14.99, which includes two wheels. That’s not a bad price, to be honest. Especially compared to when the Mario Kart 8 wheels were released for the Wii U. Those were priced between $9.99 – $19.99 and only came with one wheel.
Thankfully, DigitalHypnosis took the time out to snap a few pictures and upload them to the web for all to see.
Sadly, it doesn’t look all that interesting as it comes in just black. I’d rather see some color-themed wheels and a textured grip. I can imagine those Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sessions are going to heated and there’s going to be sweat everywhere.
