Special Nintendo Treehouse Event To Follow Switch Reveal

By Todd BlackJanuary 5, 2017
Nintendo Treehouse Event

Nintendo is not holding back when it comes to the Nintendo Switch reveal. We’re a week out from the official unveiling, and Nintendo has just added a subsequent event to the proceedings. One that will show exactly what to expect from the Switch.

This special Treehouse Event will focus on the games that are coming out for the Nintendo Switch. This was revealed on Twitter:

“Join us at 9:30AM EST on 1/13 for Treehouse Live and an in-depth look at upcoming games featured in the Nintendo Switch Presentation.”

This is interesting for numerous reasons. One, this event will take place less than twelve hours after the Switch reveal, which air next Thursdays at 11pm EST/10pm Central time, and two, this seems to confirm that there will be a bunch of game reveals for the Switch during the initial presentation.

Now true, Nintendo has pulled a “one-game show” stunt in the past in regards to Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, but, as the Tweet notes, this Treehouse is focusing on “upcoming games” for the Switch. Which implies more than one. Second, if they don’t announce more than one game, not named Zelda, at this presentation, you can bet the fans will be up in arms. Especially with all the rumors bouncing around about what’s coming and what’s not.

Finally, this has to confirm that the Switch is coming in March, for if the games are this close to being done to show them off in such a fashion, it can’t be too long until we play them.

So, what do YOU think is coming via the Nintendo Switch reveal that would prompt a Nintendo Treehouse event? Let us know in the comments below!
