Atlus States Persona 5 and Yakuza 0 Will NOT Be Coming To Nintendo Switch

By Todd BlackJanuary 3, 2017

There’s been a lot of rumors recently about what will, and what won’t, be coming to the Nintendo Switch at both launch, and in the coming months. With just a little over a week until the big Switch event, these are no doubt going to intensify. However, some confirmations are coming through as well. Even if they’re confirmations about games that won’t be coming to the system

The latest comes from Atlus, who have already been vocal about their support for Nintendo and the Switch, however, two of their biggest upcoming games (that we know about), have just been confirmed to not be coming to Switch, or other consoles. In a post on Twitter, Atlus USA and SEGA of America PR manager John Hardin stated this:

“Persona 5 platforms: PS3, PS4.
Yakuza 0 platforms: PS4.

THAT’S. IT.

No Switch. No PC. Idk about the box label, that’s a Sony thing.”

Apparently, some rumors about Persona 5 and Yakuza 0 coming to Switch were circling around, so Atlus decided to disspell them once and for all. Again though, we can confirm that Atlus/Sega are having some big titles coming to the Nintendo Switch. And, it’s very likely that these will be revealed either during the presentation next week, or, as the months towards E3 roll on.
