The Power Rangers Project: Celebrating 24 Years of Power Rangers

By Clinton Bowman-ChristieJanuary 15, 2017

THE POWER RANGERS PROJECT: AN ANTHOLOGY OF POWER RANGERS THROUGHOUT THE YEARS

For over 23 years, Power Rangers has blessed the homes of millions of children, teenagers, and tokusatsu fans with its colorful suits, eccentric characters and Japanese source footage.  So much so that we have gotten 2 Power Rangers movies, a reboot movie of the 1st ever season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on the way in March, and a recent re-release of the original figure and accessory line from Bandai’s toy and figure division.

To celebrate the upcoming 24th anniversary of the franchise, as well as the upcoming movie from Lionsgate and Saban Brands, we at the Outerhaven Productions would like to introduce you to the Power Rangers Project!

The Power Rangers Project, or #PRProject, was started by me, Clinton Bowman-Christie, in 2013 in a bout of boredom while sitting at home. I watched every season from Mighty Morphin’ 1 until RPM, commenting on things that I found very interesting or puzzling about select episodes. Fast forward a couple years, and the #PRProject is in it’s 4th year, with Power Rangers Ninja Steel about to make its debut this month on Nickelodeon as well as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Uchu Sentai Kyuranger in February and the Lionsgate Power Rangers Movie in March.

Here is what is in store for the Power Rangers Project:

  • Select episode analysis, such as Green With Evil, Countdown to Destruction, Danger and Destiny and more
  • Gaming Streams of Various early Power Rangers video games
  • Various Top 5/10 lists and more
  • Season and Movie Reviews and more

The ultimate goal for the Power Rangers Project is to celebrate the series that I and many others have continuously enjoyed, throughout the good and the bad. I hope that everyone takes the opportunity to enjoy what we have in store for all of you Power Rangers fans out there!

POWER ON!
