New Resident Evil 7 Trailer Making the Rounds

By Keith MitchellDecember 16, 2016

With Capcom’s Resident Evil 7 being just under 2 months to go before its release, we’ve received another trailer to get us piqued. That is if you weren’t already, that is. While this trailer is also only 30 seconds long, like the previous trailer, we are introduced to some new voiceovers, as well as new action sequences. Truth be told, this story is starting to become more and more interested, yet many are wondering what connection does this game have with the previous Resident Evil series. We know the connections are there, but what… well, that’s the question that will be answered once the game is released.

Resident Evil 7 marks the return of the iconic series to the roots of survival horror, while apparently taking a different route. Instead of being the familiar formula that fans are used to, Resident Evil 7 looks to be taking cues from other games such as Silent Hill, Amnesia and even the killed-off survival horror project from Konami, P.T.

Resident Evil 7 is set for a January 24th, 2017, release date for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The title will also be a PlayStation VR exclusive title for one year, support for the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift is rumor to come later in 2018.
