Pretty Soon Your Favorite IndieBox Titles Will Be Available At Gamestop

By Keith MitchellOctober 21, 2016

Thanks to a deal between Gamestop and IndieBox, gamers will have a nice opportunity to pick up several of their favorite indie titles in physical form. As part of Gamestop’s GameTrust Initiative, the very same program that brought the Naughty Dog developed title Song of the Deep to life, Indie Box will be bringing over several indie-developed titles to Gamestop.

The following games listed will be available starting on November 19, 2016.

  • Nuclear Throne
  • Rogue Legacy
  • Axiom Verge
  • Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition
  • Punch Club
  • Jotun: Valhalla Edition
  • Awesomenauts
  • Chariot
  • Stories: The Path of Destinies
  • Thomas Was Alone

Each of these titles will cost $19.99 and will include several goodies which are sure to entice both gamers and game collectors. Those goodies include a Steelbook case, full-color instruction manual, physical soundtrack, DRM-free disc and a mini art print that includes a steam key. Each game is currently available for pre-order here and if you’re interested in picking one or two, I recommend going the pre-order route as this promotion is for select Gamestop locations only. Meaning that your Gamestop may not carry them in-store, so pre-ordering is the best way to ensure you get yours. This is also a North American only deal, so our gaming friends outside the country aren’t able to partake. Unless you get them one as a gift and send it their way.

If you’re already a subscriber to IndieBox’s service, you may be thinking that you’ll be able to get these via the service, right? Well, not really as IndieBox has confirmed that these babies are exclusive to Gamestop for now.

I don’t know about you, but despite the fact that I own five of the listed titles, I’m going to pick them up again just for those sweet steel book case. I’m a sucker for a good collectible and those cases are pretty legit.
