ReCore Gets A New Update, Playable Trial For Windows 10 And Xbox One

By Keith MitchellOctober 5, 2016

It’s been just about a month since ReCore was released for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. And while the title did mildly successful, the game was still criticized due to the long  load times, missing textures, and a few other issues. However, that looks to be a thing of the past as a patch was released today. Weighing in at 5GB, this new update decreases the loading times, audio and visual improvements, updates to achievement tracking, collision updates, checkpoints and respawns. This patch is available as of today and is ready for download.

In addition,  a new trial version is available for both the Xbox One and PC, and weight in at 9.36GB for Windows 10, 6GB on Xbox One. The trial will let gamers experience 30 minutes of gameplay and let them decide if they want to pick up the full game. We’re excited to let you know that, starting today, anyone who hasn’t yet had the opportunity to play ReCore can now experience their first 30 minutes of the game in a free trial version on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. Players will meet Joule, her Corebot companion Mack, and begin their adventure in the beautiful and mysterious world of Far Eden. If you decide to buy the full game afterwards, you can pick up right where you left off, as your progress (and Achievements) in the trial will be reflected in the full game.

Good news for everyone who wasn’t sure about the game and I’m currently downloading it now. Wasn’t 100% sold on it, so kudos to the ReCore team for  giving us a chance to try it out for free.
