The Card for This Saturday’s WWE NXT Takeover Brooklyn II

By Josh PiedraAugust 17, 2016
NXT

It’s been two months and it is time for another WWE NXT special event! Emanating from The Barclays Center in New York City, NXT looks to, once again, Takeover: Brooklyn!  Here is the card for this Saturday’s event:

NXT Championship
Samoa Joe(c) vs Shinsuke Nakamura

NXT Women’s Championship
Asuka(c) vs Bayley

NXT Tag Team Championship
The Revival(c) vs Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa

Andrade “Cien” Almas vs Bobby Roode

No Way Jose vs Austin Aries

In addition to the matches above, it is being teased that the mysterious Ember Moon will be arriving as well this Saturday. The event starts at 8:00 PM EST / 5:00 PM PST on the WWE Network with a pre-show beginning thirty minutes beforehand. As a reminder, you can watch the event free by signing up for the WWE Network as a new subscriber.

The last time WWE ran a Takeover event here, Bayley and Sasha Banks headlined as the main event, which was a historic moment since never before has a women’s championship been the main event of a WWE special. The previous Takeover show also featured the first and only appearance of Jushin “Thunder” Liger in a WWE ring as he took on Tyler Breeze.
