Dead Rising to Finally Make an Appearance on PC

By Keith MitchellAugust 10, 2016

While Dead Rising 2 &3 made their debut on the PC, years ago I might add, the original outing was never available. Capcom is changing all that, as they’ve announced that Dead Rising will be making its way to the PC as of September 13, 2016. In fact, it’s currently available for pre-order on Steam, for $19.99. It’s worth noting that both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will also get a port of the original Dead Rising as well. Expect to see it available for play on Steam as of September 13, 2016.

However, this ain’t no simple port, not in the least, as this version will support 4K and beyond resolutions, an uncapped frame rate, support for 144Hz / G-Sync monitors and even support for Xbox 360/Xbox One & PlayStation DualShock 4 controllers.

I had a blast playing this back on the Xbox 360, now it looks like I’ll be doing it all over again when this drops for the PC. Of course, it’s just to tide us over until we get Dead Rising 4, but with this release… sure I got time to kill. Oh, and Zombies.
