New Nintendo Selects Titles and Amiibo Bundles Also Announced For Back-To-School
As the 3DS era winds down, Nintendo has announced a Mario themed New Nintendo 3DS bundle that features a low $149.99 price tag. The system comes with a preloaded copy of Super Mario 3D Land, as well as extra cover plates based on New Super Mario Bros. 2.
Nintendo also unveiled the newest titles to their Nintendo Selects line:
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf
- Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon
- Tomodachi Life
- Nintendogs + Cats – Golden Retriever and New Friends
- LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
- Nintendo Land
- LEGO City Undercover
As part of the Nintendo Selects line of games, the games now cost $19.99. These games join Super Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, Pikmin 3, Disney’s Frozen: Olaf’s Quest, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Yoshi’s New Island and the NES Remix Pack.
On September 9th, amiibo will begin being bundled with popular Wii U games.
Yoshi’s Wooly World, previously bundled with just the classic green yarn Yoshi amiibo, will have two bundles each. These bundles will feature either a pink or light blue yarn Yoshi. Also, Mario Party 10 will have either Princess Peach or Bowser bundled along with the game, and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will be sold alongside the Toad amiibo.
