Limited,Collector’s and Day One Editions Announced for World of Final Fantasy

Here we go, fellow video game collector edition people, Square Enix has a nice surprise lined up for us all as they’re announced that World of Final Fantasy is getting a Limited, Collector’s and Day One editions.

World of Final Fantasy is an upcoming role-playing game for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita set to be released in 2016. The game is aimed at a younger gaming audience and being developed as a way to bring children into the series who are more drawn to cutesy and fantasy-looking art styles. World of Final Fantasy is set in the land of Grymoire. The two main characters—Reynn and her little brother Lann—venture into the world to battle and befriend monsters pulled from previous Final Fantasy games, including spin-off titles like Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.

Currently, the Limited, Collector’s and Day OneEdition’s are only available via the Square Enix store. Pre-orders are live and can be ordered here. Included in the Limited and Collector’s Editions are the following:

Limited Edition – $59.99

  • Unique packaging including the physical game disc plus a 24-page artbook
  • Extra digital content, including White Chocobo, Glow Moogle and Red Bonnetberry mirages, a Sephiroth summon and a Japanese voice-over option add-on

Collector’s Edition – $119.99

  • Physical copy of World of Final Fantasy
  • 80-Page hardback artbook
  • Soundtrack
  • A set of three mini-figurines; Cloud, Lightning and Squal
  • In-game digital content – The white Chocobo, Glow Moogle, Red Bonnetbettery mirages, Sephiroth summon and a Japanese voice-over option add-on

Day One Edition – $59.99

  • Physical game disc
  • Extra digital content, including White Chocobo, Glow Moogle and Red Bonnetberry Mirages, a Sephiroth summon and a Japanese voice-over option add-on

World of Final Fantasy is set for launch on October 26, 2016, for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
