Gamestop says the Wii U Deluxe is completely sold out nation wide

By Keith MitchellSeptember 15, 2012

You saw the signs, you knew it was coming despite the naysayers. Say it ain’t so, but it is…. the Nintendo Wii U deluxe is sold out at all Gamestops across the country. It’s so bad that they don’t even have the sku for the deluxe system in their system anymore. Unless they strike gold or the second coming of Jesus you won’t be able to pre-order a Wii U deluxe from Gamestop and get it on day 1 or likely not until Christmas if this is anything like when the Wii shipped.

Time for a new plan fellow gamers. A few stores are still taking preorders namely Bestbuy, Target and Walmart. and if I may I’d suggest Walmart as they’ll selling the Wii U deluxe in a bundle; for $449.00 you can get the Wii U deluxe , a Wii U game of your choosing (between Super Mario Bros. U, Wii Fit U, Lego City Undercover, Pikmin 3, Sing Party, Ninja Gaiden 3, ZombiU, Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth, Rabbids Land, Assassin’s Creed 3, Rayman Legends or Skylanders Giants ) and a Wii Remote Plus.

Changes are that if Gamestop sold out of their Wii U deluxe then it’s fair game that it will happen else where as well. So if you want a deluxe you should get out there and start looking now or fair those crazy mobs come 11/18/2012.
