XCOM 2 Is Coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

By Keith MitchellJune 7, 2016

The amazing follow-up to XCOM, XCOM 2, is finally making its way over to both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Released previously for the PC, XCOM 2 pits you against the aliens who enslaved the human race and the rotten Advent Forces who serve them. XCOM 2 is set for release on September 6th, 2016, and will also include the Resistance Warrior Pack which includes customization items and even a new recruit, for everyone who pre-orders the title.

The port will be handled by The Workshop, a newly formed development studio that is comprised of former Treyarch members.

There will also be two editions of XCOM 2 as well. The standard edition which will retail for $59.99, and digital deluxe edition, which currently does not have an announced price just yet. As a fellow XCOM 2 player, it’s worth noting that this is a fantastic announcement as I can now play XCOM 2 with controller support since the PC version is missing that option.
