7 Days to Die Coming to PS4/Xbox One on June 28th

By Keith MitchellMay 25, 2016

Telltale Publishing, in their first time ever, is bringing the survival horror title 7 Days to Die to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. While 7 Days to Die has been a huge hit on PC, this marks the eventual release on consoles, giving the title more exposure. I’ve played this in the past and it’s a fun and thrilling title, so I’m glad to see that console gamers will also get a chance to experience the title. 7 Days to Die will be available on June 28, 2016, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Set in a brutally unforgiving post-apocalyptic world overrun by the undead, 7 Days to Die is an open-world survival game that is a unique combination of first-person shooter, survival horror, tower defense, and role-playing games. It presents combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration, and character growth in a way that has seen a rapturous response from fans worldwide, generating hundreds of thousands of hours of community content on YouTube and other streaming video platforms.

However, the game won’t be a straight port, as it is getting a new console exclusive multiplayer mode that includes split-screen co-op. Always nice to see split-screen be included for co-op gaming, as it makes for some fun couch gaming moments.
