The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine Coming May 31

By Cody MaynardMay 10, 2016

“The land of wine is drenched in blood.”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the best received games in recent years, and it’s no wonder why—the game is immersive, beautiful, and features some of the best storytelling I’ve ever experienced. The last expansion, Blood and Wine, will be available on May 31st for all platforms and will add over 30 more hours of content to The Witcher 3. Below is a teaser trailer for the expansion released by developers CD Projekt Red.

The story for the DLC is as follows:

“For the last time become professional monster slayer Geralt of Rivia and explore Toussaint, a remote land untouched by war, where you will unravel the horrifying secret behind a beast terrorizing the kingdom. Blood and Wine is a 30+ hour adventure full of dark deeds, unexpected twists, romance and deceit.”

I haven’t beaten The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s main story (nor have I even come close to doing so), but man, that game is awesome and just hearing about Blood and Wine makes me want to jump back in today. You can read our review of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt here.
