Boku no Pico is one of those animes that touches you in a very special place…. Your heart. You’ll grin and blush at the over the top bonding between two friends with a deep, penetrating relationship. A show so moving that it’ll bring a tear to your eye. You may not be able to sit…. still…. for weeks on end after experiencing the throbbing and enthralling tale of romance between our two main characters.
This is a rock solid show with an impregnable storyline from beginning to end. Just when you think you’ve gotten the gist of the story, it sneaks up from behind and plays a game of Guess Who with your emotions. You’ll feel the excitement pounding away… in your heart, but a proverbial gentle voice will whisper “Shhh” into your ear, sending shivers down your spine as you anticipate the next plot point.
Equally masterful is the art and animation. Every minute detail, from the puckering of the lips all the way to every drop of sweat… so magnificently steamy that it’ll make you wish this was on Playstation VR. As you reach around every nook and cranny of this show and grasp at whatever throbbing eye candy is flashed in front of your eyes, you’ll dream about the experience night after night.
Boku no Pico is just that kind of show. It’s an 11/10 and something I would recommend that anyone watch. In fact, watch it in the company of others. Hold a viewing party. Make popcorn, perhaps order a pizza. Something warm and moist that everyone can enjoy would also suffice. Everyone likes a plump, juicy snack. My personal recommendation for dessert would be a cannoli. They’re easy to grip and with their sweet, cream filling, it would be the perfect accent to top of a magical evening with Boku no Pico.
As a matter of fact, if you’re still reading this review and haven’t yet ran to the bathroom and grabbed a box of Kleenex and skin moisturizer… you know.. to dry your eyes of tears and prevent post liquid evaporation-induced wrinkles, then… I just have to say..
