Shadow of Mordor Potentially Getting a Sequel

By Jason KwasnickiMarch 29, 2016

If the resume of an experienced stunt/motion capture artist is to be believed, work on a sequel to 2014’s Shadow of Mordor is either planned or underway. Nerdleaks discovered that the artist, Lauren Mary Kim, has apparently done motion capture work for the title with Blur, a company famous for doing CGI trailers for various publishers throughout the industry.

The original Shadow of Mordor was both a financial and critical success, selling 2.87 million units on the Playstation 4 alone and garnering a Metacritic score of 84 (87 on Xbox One). Therefore, it would only make sense that Warner Bros. would want to capitalize on a franchise that has been very lucrative in the motion picture space and could continue to be an asset in interactive entertainment.

Given that this information indicates Blur is working on the project (if true), that could mean a reveal trailer is on the horizon. Keep it tuned to The Outerhaven for more information as the story develops.

Born and raised in the New York area, currently kicking it in Queens, and keeping an ear to the grindstone in this crazy world of internet media hustling. Having attended the George Washington University with a Degree in History, I'm sometimes inclined to use big words unnecessarily. While I typically play a lot of RPGs, I tend to like any game that is fun. My PSN ID is NY-Miller, so hit me up if you ever want to kill some Wizards on the Moon in Destiny.
