CliffyB’s Lawbreakers Is No Longer F2P, Will Be Exclusive to Steam

By Keith MitchellMarch 17, 2016

The dream is dead. Well, not exactly. While originally announced as a Free to Play or F2P title, it looks like Cliff Blezinski’s upcoming FPS title, LawBreakers, will now be a paid title. Recently announced during the on-going Game Developers Conference, not only will the title be exclusive to Steam but it will also now sport an undisclosed price tag. Reasons why the sudden 180 with this decision haven’t been stated, however looking at the state of the F2P scene not looking so stellar, it may be the best decision for the title.

“LawBreakers is a competitive game at heart and that means balance is a big priority to me, my team, and our community. Using a digital premium model helps ensure an even playing field by giving fans access to every available role without any barriers.”

The game also received a face lift, as it looks a bit different from the last time it was shown off to the public, as well as sporting a new logo, as seen at the top of this article. And from off what we say from the title before, it definitely looks a bit better than before.

Finally you are able to add LawBreakers to your Steam Wishlist right now by heading over to http://store.steampowered.com/app/350280. No word on when the title will be launched, however if you’re hungry for more info on LawBreakers, you won’t have to wait long as the title will be making an appearance at the upcoming PAX East 2016 convention that will be held in Boston, MA from April 22-24 2016. We’ll be in attendance, so we’ll try to get some footage and be sure to share it with our readers.
