Phantasy Star Online 2 coming to North America…. in 2013

YES YES YES YES! Sega has finally announced that Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming to North America as a free to play title, however, it won’t be coming until 2013. While I’m happy about the decision I really think that it’s bad timing, especially with World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2 (which is also a free to play title) launching fairly shortly and the majority of PC gamers will be likely playing those titles.

Still, I say bring it on, I spent countless hours on the original Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast (R.I.P) and some Phantasy Star Universe on the Xbox 360 & PC.

Let’s go PSO2 in 2013 for MMO of the year!
