Odin Sphere Leifthrasir gets a limited “Storybook” Edition

By Keith MitchellNovember 18, 2015

Atlus USA was teasing something “Bigger” previously, however they remained pretty cryptic to what is was, that is until now. They’ve recently announced that upcoming Odin Sphere Leifthrasir would receive a collectors edition, the Odin Sphere Leifthrasir’s “Storybook” Edition that is.  Now, this is a very limited release, quantities will be sparse, so be sure to pick it up sooner or later, or even better just pre-order it. Expect to spend $79.99, though it definitely seems worth it.

Apparently this is going to be one of their largest special editions they’ve ever released and judging from the shear amount of goodies they’ve included with this, i’m inclined to agree with them. In fact, just check out what’s included below.

BEHOLD!

  • A 64-page hardcover art book, with full color renditions of the glorious Vanillaware art
  • A Potion Recipe t-shirt to remind you of the most basic alchemical recipes
  • A collector’s metal slipcase to house the game
  • An art print we have yet to reveal!
  • And a premium outer box adorned with the game’s fantastical artwork!

Oh yeah, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir releases in Spring 2016 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.

The Odin Sphere Leifthrasir’s “Storybook” is only for the PlayStation 4 version however, while the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita will only receive the standard versions of the game. However the PS3 and PS Vita’s owners won’t be left out in the cold, as Atlus as also announced that all versions of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir will also include a softcover 64-page art-book, but only for a limited time and only a participating retailers.

So, Atlus’s biggest collectors edition so far? Yep, I think so.
