Check This Out: Call of Duty Black Ops II Reveal Trailer

By Keith MitchellMay 1, 2012

While the sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops, aptly named Call of Duty: Black Ops II, has been rumored to exist it recently was officially announced just a short while ago.

We now get to view the reveal trailer as it was recently shown on tonight’s NBA Playoff’s.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II takes place in the future, 2025 to be exact. The military now seems to depend on technology more than human resources to fight their battles…. that is until someone figures out a way to take over those resources… enter hacktivists! This marks the first time that the series has gone behind either past or modern day warfare and takes place in the distant future, similar to Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon (which is also set two decades into the future). Treyarch will be handling the development of this title just as they did with the original Black Ops title.

I only hope that it has Zombies still or at least some run amok robots to blast as well!

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is set to release on PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 (none for you Wii-U).

….Oh and Sgt. Frank Woods is still alive! See he didn’t die after all!
