Street Fighter x Tekken: The PS Family Exclusives – Presenting, Pac-Man and… Megaman?

By Holland CulbreathJanuary 26, 2012

Straight from the Japanese Street Fighter X Tekken website, we get our first looks at the previously hinted at Pac-Man, along with the return of the character Capcom fans have been clamoring for ever since the announcement of Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Apparently Playstation family exclusives (sorry Xbox), it looks like Pacman and Megaman will join Cole and the two cats are on both PS3 and the PSVita (dubbed PSV, by me, forever).

Without further ado, I give you

Pac-Man:

Pac-Man

PacmanPac

Along with Description:

Dot Eater

A living being whose origin and motive are wrapped in mystery. It is an omnivorous life form that consumes anything in its path. No matter what happens, its smile never leaves its face. It is not known what it is thinking or what its motives are, but it is certainly heading towards the box.

and… Mega… Man?!

WTF is this?!

*facepalm*smh

Description:

Middle Aged Hero!

Known as a Digger, a person who digs up relics from the past for research. He is a hot-tempered man, but has a strong sense of justice and is also very polite. His weak point is that he is easily rattled when backed into a corner. He is always running around in a hurry due to the demands of his partner Roll, and this time he’s been asked to travel to Antarctica to retrieve a mysterious box.

Also, yes, Pac-Man is riding a Mokujin.

Sure, at the heart of the matter, having joke/troll characters isn’t a big deal at all. I welcome new characters, no doubt. But when I think of the development time that could have been spent adding actual Street Fighter or Tekken characters that fans have been requesting…

Facepalm

Lastly, here’s some footage, courtesy of Capcom:
