Tales of Symphonia HD is heading to PC in 2016

By Keith MitchellJuly 2, 2015

Rejoice PC JPRG Fans for it seems more and more Japan companies are getting the message and I know you guys/gals exist. Yet another JRPG will be making it’s way over to the PC, this time around it’s Bandai Namco’s Tales of Symphonia HD.  Slated to be released sometime in 2016, this version will be based on the HD version that was released for the PlayStation 3 last year, which was a port of the original PlayStation 2 title. This is great news for those who don’t own a PlayStation 3 or for those who never got around to playing the title.

Here’s to hoping that this isn’t a straight port and that we get some PC-centric additions, including a silky smooth 60FPS. Seriously Bandai Namco, please don’t give us a locked 30FPS title, just don’t.

The game is already listed in Steam as well it seems  and it mentions that the game supports co-op and multiplayer, so hopefully that means the co-op battles make it the game as well.so keep your eyes glued there for more info.

This makes two confirmed titles from the Tales series that will make it over to the PC; Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Zestiria. Hopefully that means more will come later on as well.
