Not Satisfied With GTA V PC? Why Not GTA V VR?

By Aaron SandersApril 17, 2015

Do you like GTA V? Were you not satisfied with the original version on PS3 or Xbox 360? Were you craving more after the next-gen version on PS4 or Xbox One? Are you still lusting for a definitive version after the PC version? Never mind how weird that is, lets focus on the version that might just be for you, the VR version.

You may have heard of the company Virtuix and their machine, the Omni. If not, these guys have made a machine that is basically a friction-less, 360 degree “treadmill” that you can use with the Oculus Rift VR headset to immerse yourself into a full virtual reality experience.

Virtuix already has a library of games lined up for the initial release of the Omni, including Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Battlefield 3, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Counter-Strike: GO, Far Cry 3, Half-life 2, Borderlands 2, and Minecraft. And guess what they have added to that library; Grand Theft Auto V.

That’s right, you will soon be able to experience GTA V in full virtual reality! Don’t believe me? Don’t worry, there’s a video of it below.

The Omni is available for pre-order on the official site: www.virtuix.com
