When you are familiar with a particular voice actor, you kind of notice them wherever they show up, and that’s happened recently with the first time we’ve heard the English voice-over for Spider-Man in Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Instantly people were going “Is that Josh Keaton?” Well, yes, it is and it’s been confirmed!

Fans instantly noticed that the web-slinger’s voice sounded like a certain Josh Keaton, who voiced Spider-Man in the Spectacular Spider-Man animated series, and then more recently as Spider-Man again in Marvel Cosmic Invasion.
Josh Keaton is well-liked for his portrayal of both Peter Parker and Spider-Man, bringing an emotional depth to the role that few have matched. That’s made him a shoo-in for the character whenever he’s available, and at this point he’s become synonymous with Spider-Man in the same way Peter Cullen is synonymous with Optimus Prime.
Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will be released for PlayStation 5 and PC on August 6, 2026.
