GameSir has revealed its next controller for its growing catalog, the new GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC – Nioh 3 Edition This controller is currently available for pre-order at $89.99 on the Gamesir website, and it aims to be more than just a themed accessory for fans of the smash-hit action RPG Nioh 3, that has already surpassed 1,000,000 copies sold. I also happen to be one of my favorite games of 2026, so yes, I’m interested in this.
Inspired by Nioh’s Living Weapon state, the controller features deep black grips styled like layered armor with sharp gold accents meant to represent surging spiritual energy. It is flashy without being overdesigned, and it looks stunning with the gold and black theme.
What makes this release stand out is the hardware inside. The G7 Pro 8K PC supports an 8000Hz polling rate over both wired and 2.4GHz wireless connections via a 2.4GHz USB dongle. That places it firmly in esports territory, offering faster input reporting and lower latency than most standard controllers. That said, I have to point out that due to higher-than-normal polling rate, the controller isn’t compatible with the Xbox Series X|S. This is strictly a PC-affair.
It also features GameSir’s second-generation magnetic TMR sticks, designed to eliminate physical contact inside the module. That approach reduces wear over time and helps guard against stick drift. According to GameSir, the Gen-2 version improves smoothness and control response, which will matter far more than the themed shell for competitive players.
The controller includes dual-mode trigger stops, allowing you to switch between Hall Effect analog triggers for smooth, linear input or micro switch triggers for faster, click-style actuation. That flexibility makes it usable for everything from racing games to twitch-heavy shooters without locking you into one response style.
There are also four remappable macro buttons, including two lockable rear buttons, along with optical micro switch face buttons and a mechanical D-pad for more precise directional input. A built-in six-axis gyroscope adds motion control support, and dual asymmetric rumble motors provide detailed vibration feedback. The controller also supports 3.5mm audio over both wired and 2.4GHz wireless connections.
So, if you’re fan of Nioh 3 and you happen to enjoy Gamesir’s products and some amazing controllers, this could be your controller, if you’re a PC gamer that is.
