Developer Sluggerfly and publisher Headup have recently revealed that Super Meat Boy 3D, which was previously announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, is now getting a Nintendo Switch 2 release.
Check out the trailer below.
If you’ve never played a Meat Boy game, just know that these are the games of platforming nightmares. Saw blades, spikes, crushing traps, and more await you in Super Meat Boy 3D. Just think of the hardest platformer you’ve ever played and then know that it doesn’t hold a candle to the Meat Boy series.
And with Super Meat Boy 3D, this is the first time that the series has made the jump to, well, 3D. Oh, and did I mention that there’s no second chances? If you even momentarily hit an obstacle, it’s back to the starting line for you. Brutal? Yeah, that’s a good way to sum up this game.
Currently there’s no release date for Super Meat Boy 3D, but we’ve been told that the game should be released early Spring 2026.
