Update: Apparently that little teaser at the 2015 Taipei Game Show was NOT for Metal Gear Rising 2. Per Geoff Keighley, who apparently did the leg work, there is no Metal Gear Rising 2 in development after all.

A lot of people aren’t exactly accepting this as fact, however since we didn’t hear anything about the title at the game show, nor have we heard any rumblings about it from either Konami or Platinum games, we can only believe Geoff…. for the time being at least.
A little event called the Taipei Game Show is taking place this weekend, maybe you heard of it. Well during the PlayStation 4 games segment it seems that something appeared that made the Metal Gear Rising fans go nuts, present company included. No game footage, hell the logo didn’t even mention anything to do with Metal Gear Rising, however the stylized number two that appeared was unmistakable. Yes folks, it looks like Jack will be coming back after all.

Hopefully there’s more talk of it from the 2015 Taipei Game Show.
