Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Nightmare Geese Release Date Revealed

By Kevin KellyFebruary 20, 2026

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves brings back the terror to the roster. Nightmare Geese has been circling around South Town since the game’s launch as a ghost of King of Fighters past. However, to see him back as a playable character can be just as frightening as his SNK Boss mode form. Less pain, but still more gain with his usual kit. Geese can counter nearly everything.

Nightmare Geese usually has some more elemental abilities to enhance his moves and is way faster than his counterpart. Nightmare Geese has some new tools such a aerial feint where his fireball could be for a fake out. Nightmare Geese even has a stomp move that could hit OTG. Alot of his original set is here, too, such as the powerful forward heavy kick normal.

Rooflemonger goes into the paint with Geese’s abilities in his new rendition for City of the Wolves. Desk has already cracked Geese in record time, showing off a Just Defense parry to setup a counter move against Preecha.

Nightmare Geese will be playable on February 26th from the Season 2 roster with Jae Hoon. Blue Mary and Krauser will be coming afterwards. Two other characters will be making an appearance for the 5th and 6th additions to City of the Wolves. As to who still remains a mystery. The SNK Producers stated that the collab would make sense. Fist of the North Star felt like it was real close.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is currently available for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
