Sega announced that the Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage Switch 2 version will be doing a crossplay Open Beta test starting on February 19th to February 24th. World Stage promises crossplay across Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Steam, ecosystems for the fisticuffs. It’s definitely time to PREPARE FOR THE NEXT BATTLE.
While the other ecosystems have been Ring-Outing the competition since October 30th last year, it’s now the Switch’s turn. Every character seems to be available for this run with no restrictions. This is going to be for the Network tests for all to reach out and defeat someone. Wired connections are recommended.

Participants will be getting this shiny in-game bonus title for helping with the test.

Sega Accounts are needed to participate. The full title will be coming to Switch 2 on March 26th at 19.99 USD. We thought this was possibly the Ultimate version of Virtua Fighter 5 that you could ever get in our review with the World Stage single player aspect in tow. The fully portable version might be on the same page or title card. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is especially handy for those long rides before entering in-person tournaments.
