Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Steam Page Leak Confirms 20 Fighters and Massive Online Lobbies

While one anticipated fighting game is fumbling the ball, it would see that Arc System Works and PlayStation are more than happy to pick up the slack, even if the info was posted earlier than planned regarding Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. With the big State of Play event taking place later this week, it looks like someone jumped the gun by posting the info early on the game’s Steam page (which has since been removed)

This information has confirmed that the game will feature 20 characters at launch, which is a huge relief, given that we’ve only see a very short number of characters so far. As for which other characters have made the roster, they haven’t stated. Maybe there’s hope that my boy, War Machine or maybe Cyclops will make the cut after all. Fingers crossed.

There’s also mention of a 64-player lobbies, and how the lobbies will function differently than priory Arc System Work games. This is going to be a true 64-player lobby experience, where players can match up, speculate and interact. So, basically this is aiming to be a true arcade-like experience. Time will tell if Arc Sys can pull it off, as the prior lobbies have been hit or miss.

The game will also feature a single-player episode mode, where players will get a deep dive into the game lore and dynamics. Hopefully it’s much more than what it sounds like it will be.

The State of Play that will be taking place on February 12, 2026, at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET, on the PlayStation YouTube and Twitch accounts.
