If you have been following the news on WWE 2K26 so far, you’ll already know that this year’s showcase mode is focused on cover star, “The Best In The World” CM Punk. Whether you love him or hate him, there is no denying his career is full of massive matches and moments.
The biggest question on many fans’ minds has been which of his matches will make the cut and which dream bouts might serve as replacements for matches that cannot feature in WWE 2K26 due to certain wrestlers no longer under contract with WWE. Well, not too long ago, in a brand new trailer, we were treated to a good look at several of the matches that will feature in this year’s showcase mode.
This trailer gives us a nice look at several CM Punk models, and I must say they look great. What’s more important is the matches we see here, from classic bouts with John Cena, Brock Lesnar, JBL and more. All the way to last year’s Wrestlemania main event triple threat match against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.
It looks like we will have a good mix of classic and newer matches from Punk’s career, which I think is smart given that he was out of WWE for more than a decade. So, younger fans today might not remember or even have been around during his first iconic run with the company.
