InvincibleVS Lucan and Anissa Gameplay Revealed

By Kevin KellyFebruary 5, 2026

Quarter-Up didn’t want to leave us all empty-handed for long while they released the new trailer for their roster-adds to InvincibleVS. The tag fighter based on the comic will has a few months or so before launch, but there’s a ways to go in terms of characters. We’ve got two this time with Lucan and Anissa. And of course, Lucan has some jiggle physics. The game also went into a bit of a combat demo livestream, too.

The grappler, Lucan, does his dues. Lucan has some armor-based moves in his kit, as well as a stun move. Lucan’s flight differs from the rest of the Viltrumites in the game by doing some hovering instead. Lucan can win anti-grapplers over with his durability and kit. He even has some follow-up OTG moves.

Anissa is faster character. Anissa has air dodging with some cross up potential. Anissa has rush down potential. Anissa can be intimidating with her dash ability, too. There are some moves that help with cancels. Her Assists has a lot of overheads to overwhelm.

There have been some changes to the rest of Invincible VS. The main gameplay has added short hops. Not to be confused with King of Fighters’ Hyper Hops, this can get some mids in to help with overheads and mix-ups.  Trijump characters get faster normal cancellations.

InvincibleVS launches April 30, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. No word on when another playtest will be happening before the launch date.
