Anissa and Lucan Join Invincible VS Roster With First Gameplay Reveal

By Keith MitchellJanuary 26, 2026

With a hugely successful comic book run and an equally popular TV series, Invincible continues to make waves, this time with its upcoming 3v3 tag-team fighting game, Invincible VS. The roster already includes several fan favorites and a newcomer, and fans have been waiting to see who else would join the fight. Now we have our answer. Viltrumites Anissa and Lucan have officially been revealed, along with a first look at their gameplay.

While Lucan is impressive in his own right, it is Anissa that many Invincible fans were especially hoping to see make the cut. Not only is she extremely powerful, but she’s also a very complex character for sure. Definitely read the comic to get a better understanding of her.

As Viltrumites, both characters are absolute powerhouses, displaying incredible strength and brutal combat abilities. Anissa, in particular, appears to specialize in fast blitz-style moves that let her quickly close the distance between herself and her opponent. This reveal only offers a brief glimpse at what they can do, but a more in-depth gameplay trailer for both characters is expected soon.

With the addition of Anissa and Lucan, this brings the current roster count of Invincible VS to 13 playable characters.

  • Invincible (Mark Grayson)
  • Omni-Man (Nolan Grayson)
  • Atom Eve
  • Bulletproof
  • Rex Splode
  • Thula
  • Battle Beast
  • Robot
  • Monster Girl (Amanda)
  • Cecil Stedman
  • Ella Mental
  • Lucan
  • Anissa

There’s still no sign of Tech Jacket, but hopefully me makes it in. We still have a few more months before the game is released, and the full roster will have 18 characters. So that means there’s 5 more to be revealed.

Speaking of Invincible, not sure if your heard (or read), but Invincible Season 4 is slated to start on March 16, 2026. There’s a mess to be cleaned up, and the Viltrumites are part of the reason. We’re finally going to see the good guys be proactive and take the fight to them. I can’t wait.

Invincible Season 4 Gets A March 2026 Release Date

Invincible VS launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 30, 2026.
