This past week, Toge Productions celebrated the studio’s 17th anniversary. And what better way to celebrate than with a direct broadcast? During the direct event, Toge Productions shared announcements and updates for a few of the games it develops or publishes. We saw an announcement for Work Work Work, updates on the Coffee Talk series, and even a few free and discounted games!

Work Work Work Announced
First off, Toge announced Work Work Work, a new game by Mojiken Studio. Mojiken previously developed A Space for the Unbound, which received a nomination at The Game Awards in 2023. So they’re a studio to watch.
Their newly announced game, Work Work Work, revolves around an employee at a tech company who becomes trapped in a time loop. The indie title is a point-and-click exploration game that seems to satirize workplace culture. The game lists the company’s features as including “free coffee,” “meaningful tasks,” and an “inspiring workplace” (leaving cubicles not permitted).
And while there’s definitely some humor here, the puzzle game also promises “psychological horror.” As a big fan of indie horror games, I’m intrigued.

Coffee Talk Updates
Alright, let’s get the less-exciting news out of the way. Coffee Talk Tokyo has been delayed. According to a press release, this was not an easy decision for developer Chorus Worldwide or publisher Toge. However, the two made the decision so that the team could polish the game and “make sure everything feels just right when players finally step behind the counter in Tokyo.”
Coffee Talk Tokyo now has a release date of May 21st. In the meantime, you may play a demo of the coffee-brewing and heart-to-heart chatting game here.
In more upbeat Coffee Talk news, the original Coffee Talk will soon come to mobile. The first game in the series will arrive on the App Store and Google Play on March 20th. So if you haven’t played it, you can check it out before Tokyo arrives.
Toge Productions Offers Three Free Games
What’s better than a free game? Three free games. Every couple of years, Toge Productions hosts an internal game jam called Toge Greenhouse. You can now play three of the standouts from 2023: Project Killdance, Project Homecoming Haven, and Party Party Anxiety. And they’re all free to play on Steam.
Project Killdance is a noir strategy game featuring instant death combat. You can check it out for free here.
Project Homecoming Haven is more of a demo for a home cleaning simulation, and is free to try here.
Party Party Anxiety is a self-described “dating card game for anxious people.” You may find it for free here.
More Toge Productions Announcements
Toge Productions also shared a few short announcements. Moses & Plato – Late Train to Clawville will launch later this year on PC. Meanwhile, Space for the Unbound is coming to the Google Play Store in the near future. An lastly, you may check out this teaser trailer for the upcoming update for horror game Whisper Mountain Outbreak.
Last year, the Toge Game Fund Initiative welcomed new developers and titles. The Toge Game Fund is a monetary support program set up to assist Southeast Asian developers. The program took on new developers last year and also saw some graduates as well.
