2K has announced two new digital editions of PGA TOUR 2K25, alongside a slate of upcoming content that includes the 2026 Major Championships, three additional Seasons, and new Clubhouse Passes. The new editions are available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release set for early next month.
New Editions Available Now
The newly released PGA TOUR 2K25 Pro Edition and PGA TOUR 2K25 Legend Edition Year 2 offer premium options for players looking to jump in or upgrade their experience.
The Pro Edition includes the base game, the Extra Butter x adidas Pack, the Birdie Pack, and the newly introduced Pro Accelerator Pack, which is designed to help players quickly level up their MyPLAYER. The Pro Accelerator Pack includes 8,800 VC, Level Up Tokens, Evo Tools, and Fittings.
The Legend Edition Year 2 builds on this by including everything in the Pro Edition, along with both Year 1 and Year 2 Members’ Passes. These passes unlock Clubhouse Pass Premium access for Seasons 1 through 8, as well as Year 1 and Year 2 Clubhouse Gear Packs. Additional bonuses include the Malbon Bucket Ball Pack, the Sun Day Red Pack, and exclusive limited-edition PING Iron and PUMA Footwear cosmetics.
For existing players, the Pro Accelerator Pack and Year 2 Member’s Pass will also be available as standalone add-ons.
2026 Major Championships Coming Free to All Players
2K also confirmed that the 2026 Major Championships will be added to PGA TOUR 2K25 as free content updates throughout the year.
Season 5 launches on January 21, 2026, introducing the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club. Future Seasons will add the 126th U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club and the 154th Open at Royal Birkdale Golf Club. Royal Birkdale marks its first appearance in the franchise, while the other courses return from previous entries.
All Major Championship courses will be delivered automatically at no additional cost.
Season 5 Details and What’s Next
Season 5 will also introduce two new equipment upgrade tiers—Galactic Amber and Tiger’s Eye—and highlight the shot-shaping Sculptor archetype, showcased by in-game pros Justin Thomas and Will Zalatoris. A new Clubhouse Pass will arrive alongside the Season, featuring 100 reward tiers and a unique marble-themed apparel set.
Seasons 6 through 8 will roll out in the months ahead, bringing new evolved equipment, Ranked Leaderboard resets, and additional rewards. Each Clubhouse Pass will remain available even after the new season’s launch, allowing players to progress at their own pace.
Nintendo Switch 2 Release Confirmed
Both premium editions and the Standard Edition of PGA TOUR 2K25 will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on February 6, 2026, expanding the game’s availability across platforms.
With new editions, long-requested Major Championship courses, and continued seasonal support, PGA TOUR 2K25 is shaping up for a strong second year on the fairway.
I stopped playing in season 2 as there just wasn’t enough to keep me coming back day after day, But seeing everything they are looking to add in Season 5, I think it will find it’s way back onto my Xbox.
The 3 new Championships added are looking really good in game, and i cant wait to try and hit as many Birdies as I can when they are released. Also Tiger-Eye looks like a fun thing to have a play with.
