Bloober Team Post Mysterious Message and Countdown

Is this...Project M?

The crew over at Bloober Team has been working hard over the last few years and has been cranking out horror titles after horror titles, with many of them getting lots of praise, like with the Silent Hill 2 Remake that they did. They’re also apparently working on something tied to the first game in the Silent Hill line, which many are likely to enjoy. However, they have also been teasing some “secret projects,” and under everyone’s nose, before the end of the new year, they put a  message on Twitter that read as follows:

Dare to peek into the darkness…

— Bloober Team | Layers Of Fear OUT NOW on Switch 2 (@BlooberTeam) January 1, 2026

That’s not ominous at all! If you go to the link, you’ll find that it takes you to a website with a countdown that ends around mid-February. That would imply that this will reveal what title they’re working on.

If we were to place a “bet” on what it is, it’s likely the mysterious “Project M” that Bloober Team has been teasing out whenever they could. The title is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, and they’re very excited about that. Some on Twitter, via the comment section of the post above, were even wondering if the crew was going to bring back Eternal Darkness! Anything is possible, and it won’t be too long until answers are revealed.
