One thing that it’s easy to see right now with the Nintendo Switch 2 is that plenty of 3rd party companies are announcing titles for the system. Some are ports, and others are “day of” titles, meaning they’ll launch alongside other systems. One of the ports that came out not too long ago was Persona 3 Reload, and my NEP cohost Will reviewed it for the Switch 2, noting that it was a good port, but not as smooth as it could’ve been. However, things are finally starting to change on that front, as Atlus released an update that noted a couple of key patches focused on performance:
- Performance Mode (only available in TV Mode) – targets 60 FPS
- TV Mode and Handheld Mode – improved frame rate stability
Apparently, they’ll also be putting the patch into the demo soon, in case you want to try it out before buying the full version. If you do want to get the Nintendo Switch 2 edition, I have some good news on that front, for the game is on sale for $51 on the Nintendo eShop. The deal will only last until January 5th, though, so don’t miss out!
Persona 3 Reload really is an incredible RPG. I played it on PC and had a wonderful time. So, if you haven’t had the chance to enjoy it yet and want to play it on the go, here’s your chance!
