SEGA has announced a brand-new free content drop for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, and it is a crossover longtime fans are going to appreciate. Beginning Wednesday, December 24 at 4:00 PM PT / 7 PM ET, players will be able to hit the track as NiGHTS, the iconic Nightmaren from NiGHTS into Dreams.
The NiGHTS Content Drop is completely free and available to all players who own either the Standard Edition, physical or digital, or the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game. Once the update goes live, the content will automatically download as long as the game is updated to the latest version.
This update adds more than just a new racer. Players can expect a fully themed experience built around one of SEGA’s most beloved legacy characters:
- NiGHTS as a playable character
- Dream Sleeper, NiGHTS’ signature vehicle
- Exclusive emotes and sound effects inspired by the NiGHTS series
