One game that was surprising to see for me at The Game Awards was Phasmophobia. It showed up with a brand new trailer and a new reveal.
One of the most wanted console ports for Phasmophobia in the community was for the Nintendo Switch. For one reason or another, it never showed up even after Phasmophobia made it to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. Finally, it is coming to the more powerful successor of the Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch 2. Now, fans can have their dream of playing on a portable console.
I am excited to see the features Kinetic Games will play around with on the Nintendo Switch 2. Will we get a mouse mode? That would be very handy dealing with cameras in the van or placing dots and other items in specific locations.
Phasmophobia is available today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
