Capcom’s December Showcase to Reveal New Details for Monster Hunter Stories 3 and Monster Hunter Wilds

By Keith MitchellDecember 5, 2025
Monster Hunter December 2025 Showcase

Capcom has revealed the Monster Hunter December Showcase, set for Monday, December 8 at 2 PM PST / 5 PM EST. During the event, the development team will share new details on Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection and the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4.

Fans can tune in via the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel or the Monster Hunter Twitch channel.

For Stories 3, Capcom is promising new information about the story direction, characters, and RPG systems that define the next chapter in the spin-off series. As far as the series goes, It’s something I never thought I’d be that interested in, and that all changed once I played the second game. Now I can’t wait for the 3rd game to be released.

But for many players, me included, the real spotlight of this showcase will be on Monster Hunter Wilds and the reveal of Title Update 4. The update is expected to deliver new content and adjustments based on community feedback.

Addressing Monster Hunter Wilds Performance Concerns

While Monster Hunter Wilds has been successful, its performance has been a frequent concern across PC and consoles. Players have reported inconsistent frame rates, stuttering, and dips during large battles or weather events. These issues have stopped some players from continuing the game long term.

I have been vocal about these frustrations myself, and Capcom has since stated that it has been listening to community concerns. The team has confirmed that performance improvements are part of the roadmap, which makes Title Update 4 an update worth watching.

If Title Update 4 delivers meaningful upgrades, this could be the moment that brings returning players back into the fold and helps stabilize the game’s long-term momentum.

Here is to hoping that this update is the step forward Monster Hunter Wilds needs.
