AEW Dynamite Recap – 12/3/25

By Todd BlackDecember 3, 2025
AEW Dynamite Recap

It’s Wednesday…and YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!!!! All Elite Wrestling was ready to continue its awesomeness in the ring and out, and my AEW Dynamite Recap will break down all that happened tonight!

First up was the “Face-Off” Between Samoa Joe and Eddie Kingston. Next week will be their clash at “Winter Is Coming,” and I liked how they kept things simple between them, with Joe “answering questions” for Eddie…

.@SamoaJoe pre-emptively answers some of Eddie Kingston's questions!

…and Eddie being Eddie and talking about how his way works just fine, and if Joe “isn’t who he used to be,” he’ll beat him next week:

Eddie Kingston sends a warning to AEW World Champion @SamoaJoe in a way that only he can!

Eddie really is the best. I truly loved how he said he was done talking because he knew the fans wanted to see wrestling…and then left soon after! Bless that man.

After that, we got the first match of Round 2 of the Continental Classic!

I was there live at AEW Dynasty the first time these two clashed, so it was interesting seeing them “run it back” after so much has changed. Sure enough, it was just as enjoyable as the two got physical:

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) December 4, 2025

…and then they got REALLY physical:

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) December 4, 2025

In truth, I was curious about how the match would go. Could they really have Okada go down two matches and then fight his way to the finals? Would they have TWO Death Riders start out the C2 with 2-0 records? The potential was there…but…

.@RAINMAKERXOKADA REVERSES THE BRUTALIZER!

A clever way to win, and Okada squeaks by! The story of this Continental Classic is definitely whether Okada can “survive it,” and the challenges only grow from here!

After the match, we heard from Mark Briscoe, who revealed when he’ll have his first title defense of the TNT title!

A year can change everything.
TNT Champion @SussexCoChicken once respected Daniel Garcia, but now Mark Briscoe has strong words for both him and his crew.

As you’ll see later in my AEW Dynamite Recap, they’re stacking Collision in the coming weeks, especially with them going international for a few dates! I approve of that, and I hope Briscoe/Garcia is as fun as we know it can be!

Speaking of which, we knew before Dynamite tonight that Ricochet’s first title defense will be against Dalton Castle at Ring of Honor Final Battle! But apparently, he’s already looking ahead to Saturday at Collision…where he’ll put the title up for grabs once again in a showing of…charity…

Gold meets glory this Friday at #ROHFinalBattle!@KingRicochet defends the #AEW National Championship against former @ringofhonor World Champion @theDALTONcastle!

But enough of the talking, let’s get back to the Continental Classic!

Both Fletcher and Knight had standout performances during AEW Dynamite last week, and both were coming off upset victories in the C2. So, how would they perform on Dynamite tonight? Simple: They put on the match of the night!

.@KyleFletcherPro had @Jet2Flyy scouted!

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) December 4, 2025

Truly, this match was a joy to watch. Kevin Knight has already shone brightly in his brief AEW tenure, but he’s rising up with every match in the Continental Classic, and trying to prove to the crowd more and more why he is indeed “2 Fly.”

Fletcher was no slouch either, obviously, and helped Kevin Knight get some big pops for the moves he was doing…

THEY DON'T CALL @JET2FLYY "THE JET" FOR NOTHING!

HEAD FIRST INTO THE APRON!

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) December 4, 2025

The two had a great back-and-forth, and this was another match where you had to wonder who would come out on top. Remember, Kyle Fletcher won his league last year before getting eliminated by Ospreay at World’s End. Kevin Knight may be “new to AEW,” but he’s a believable threat, so I appreciated them providing tension on who might pull it off in the end.

Sure enough, it was Kyle Fletcher, and now I’m REALLY curious about what will happen next with him, Okada, and Takeshita.

And as for Don Callis, he decided to call out The Young Bucks, and things got weird and wild quickly:

.@TheDonCallis gave The @YoungBucks a chance to take the money they won, but it turned out to be an ambush!

.@KENNYOMEGAMANX IS HERE!

Look, the ending with Jurassic Express and Kenny Omega was cool, but this segment started out all KINDS of awkward with bad timing and the commercial break right after the Fletcher match. Let this be your reminder that AEW isn’t perfect, and even they can make “timing mistakes” like this. I’m sure this will lead to something at World’s End. The only question is…what?

As for what came next on Dynamite, that would be the semifinals of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament! That’s a lot of “T’s!” Before the match started, though, the “Babes of Wrath,” who are already in the finals, gave a message to those who would follow:

From #AEWDark to the #AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament, the Babes of Wrath (@willowwrestles & @harleycameron_) are ready to make history as the inaugural champions!

Once that was done, it was time for the “HARDCORE HOLIDAY DEATH MATCH!!!!” And yes, once again, the women came to play. It had bottles!

Yeah, it was a fun time (and easily a lot more violent than a certain “War Games” match that happened last Saturday…). In fact, I was a little surprised that Toni and Mina won! Now it’s them versus Harley/Willow NEXT WEEK at Winter Is Coming (another surprise,) and I honestly don’t know who will win!

Oh, and speaking of the women’s division…

.@jmehytr & #AEW Women’s World Champion @callmekrisstat have called out the Triangle of Madness, @toxic_thekla, @Skyebyee & @TheJuliaHart!

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) December 4, 2025

…we’re getting a triple-threat match at World’s End, aren’t we? I’m not opposed to that!

…still want more from the women’s division? Well, here’s your CEO!

.@MercedesVarnado vs. @Thee_Red_Velvet 2!
The #ROH Women’s World TV Championship is on the line this Friday at #ROHFinalBattle, LIVE on Honor Club!

I hope she and Red Velvet cook ONCE AGAIN at Final Battle. There are some big women’s matches on Friday, so get an Honor Club membership and watch them!

Over in the tag team division, FTR is not amused with the Bang Bang Gang, apparently…

It all came to a head last week on #AEWCollision between the #AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR and the Bang Bang Gang (@theaustingunn & Juice Robinson)!

But once things got to the ring, we had a surprise trios match featuring The Opps…and The Dark Order! It’s always good to see them…when they’re not getting blindsided…

The Opps didn't even let The Dark Order get into the ring!

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) December 4, 2025

The match was actually longer than I thought it would, and it was great seeing Evil Uno get recognition from the crowd. Obviously, The Opps won, but it didn’t end in vain, as a certain Cowboy came out to dish out punishment…

Hangman Adam Page is a man on a mission against The Opps!

…and then issued a challenge for next week with a certain “ally” by his side when the time comes…

Three years of struggle. One stolen moment.@730hook cost Hangman Adam Page the #AEW World Championship, now Hangman wants the gold… and the blood of The Opps!

Finally, the main event had Moxley going up against Claudio, who was wearing the CMLL Heavyweight Championship that he JUST WON in Arena Mexico! AEW wrestlers know how to “go global.”

As expected, this match was hard-hitting, physical, and yes, bloody.

What started as a technical exchange has devolved into a slug fest!

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) December 4, 2025

They used the overrun to the fullest, as it went well past the hour mark, and the crowd was loving the violence. For the third time of the night, I wasn’t sure who would win. Until suddenly…

.@CLAUDIOCSRO GETS THE WIN WITH A GIANT UPPERCUT!

Watch #AEWDynamite LIVE on TBS & HBO Max pic.twitter.com/QMqCYds518

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) December 4, 2025

Yeah, Mox lost clean to Claudio via an uppercut! I loved how the ring announcers expressed shock and awe at this, and you even saw a divide in the Death Riders regarding who supported whom in the aftermath. This is definitely coming to a head at World’s End; we just don’t know right now how the chips will fall!

So yeah, that’s the end of this AEW Dynamite Recap, and things are shaping up to be quite intense in the weeks to come! Strap in, everyone, AEW is ending the year with a bang!

Collision Matches:

  • Roderick Strong vs. Orange Cassidy
  • Konosuke Takeshita vs. John Moxley
  • Claudio Castagnoli vs. Mascara Dorada
