December marks one year since the launch of the Kodansha Print Club—the publishing program aimed at bringing Kodansha’s digital-first manga favorites to print. Today, Kodansha is celebrating this upcoming anniversary by unveiling a new-to-the-program series with Girlfriend, Girlfriend Omnibus, volume 1 by Hiroyuki, debuting December 9, 2025!
Girlfriend, Girlfriend—the multi-partner high school rom-com, and one of Kodansha’s most frequently requested series for print on social media—finally arrives on fans’ bookshelves this December, in a 2-in-1 omnibus paperback edition, bringing more story directly to fans in each volume. Fans can already pre-order the first volume of this Kodansha Print Club edition at Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and Walmart, with availability at more retailers coming soon.
Not only that but volume 3s of existing Kodansha Print Club series are also arriving this December: Love, That’s an Understatement, Teppu, and the heartfelt finale of Blade Girl.
Kodansha Print Club editions of Teppu, Love, That’s an Understatement, and Blade Girl volumes 1 and 2 are currently available to order through retailers like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org, Books-A-Million, Kinokuniya, Hudson Booksellers, Powell’s, the Crunchyroll Store, and more. These titles may even be available at your local bookstore, but if you don’t see these titles, you can ask to special order them. Shipping of Kodansha Print Club titles may vary by retailer and may take longer for international orders.
