Wizards of the Coast and Capcom have officially unveiled Secret Lair x Monster Hunter

A new Magic: The Gathering Superdrop will bring the legendary action-RPG franchise into the world of collectible cards. Featuring iconic monsters, hunter armor sets, and the signature energy of the Hunt, this collaboration reimagines Monster Hunter through the lens of Magic’s card design and art direction.

The four-part Superdrop will be available December 1, 2025 at 9 a.m. PST through December 21, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. PST, while supplies last.

Four Monster Hunter Drops Incoming

Secret Lair x Monster Hunter: The Hunt

This drop represents the brutal attacks and signature abilities of Monster Hunter’s creatures, translated into non-creature spells perfect for Commander players. Each card is re-themed around a major monster from the franchise, including:

  • Blind Obedience – Malzeno + Qurio (Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak)
