Mori Calliope, a VTuber artist known for her bilingual Japanese-English lyrics and outstanding rap skills, has released a music video for Gachiakuta’s second opening song, “LET’S JUST CRASH.” Directed by Yohei Kameyama, known for Milky☆Subway: The Galactic Limited Express, the music video delivers a fast-paced, sharply animated viewing experience.
Kameyama commented: “I had the pleasure of serving as director and character designer for the ‘LET’S JUST CRASH’ music video. I’ve been a fan of Calliope’s for some time and have listened to many of her songs, but from the first time I heard ‘LET’S JUST CRASH,’ its explosive energy hit me like a powerful drug. I’m extremely grateful to have been part of the production. I put a lot of thought into how to visually express the captivating sounds and vocals scattered throughout the track. I hope you enjoy it.”
The CG production was handled by Kanaban Graphics, known for Usavich. This marks Mori Calliope’s first fully 3D animated music video.
