Nintendo and Laced Records Bring The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Soundtrack to Vinyl

By Keith MitchellOctober 29, 2025

Nintendo has teamed up with Laced Records to bring the music of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to vinyl collectors and fans around the world. Arriving on June 19, 2026, this collaboration includes a double LP and an epic 8-LP box set, both available in limited-edition colored vinyl and standard black versions.

Each release features archival artwork created by the original development team, capturing the essence of Hyrule’s breathtaking world. Preorders for the limited editions are now live through the My Nintendo Store and Laced Records.

  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Limited Edition Deluxe X8LP Boxset – $180
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Deluxe X8LP Boxset – $180
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Limited Edition Deluxe Double Vinyl – $40
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Deluxe Double Vinyl – $140

The limited-edition double LP set features blue-and-white marbled heavyweight discs packaged in a wide-spined outer sleeve with printed inner sleeves. The massive 8-LP box set is a collector’s dream, featuring blue and gold splatter discs housed in a dual slipcase with spined inner sleeves. These limited editions will be available exclusively through Laced Records, the My Nintendo Store, and Nintendo’s New York and San Francisco retail locations while supplies last. Standard black vinyl editions will also be available through select retailers.

The 8-LP soundtrack box set includes 130 newly remastered tracks, each pressed to capture the full range and emotional depth of Breath of the Wild’s score. Each disc follows a specific theme that mirrors the game’s journey — from the sweeping plains of Hyrule to the liberation of the Divine Beasts and the mysteries hidden within the Shrines. It’s an immersive way to relive one of Nintendo’s greatest adventures.

For fans looking for a more concise collection, the double LP features 34 handpicked tracks, including fan favorites like “Overworld (Day),” “Great Fairy Fountain,” and “Hyrule Castle.” Together, they create a musical experience that instantly transports listeners back to the world of the Great Calamity.

This marks one of the first times a major Nintendo soundtrack has been officially released on vinyl outside of Japan. The collection showcases the work of composers Manaka Kataoka, Yasuaki Iwata, Hajime Wakai, and Soshi Abe, who crafted a score that perfectly balances serenity, tension, and wonder. From gentle piano melodies that guide players across open fields to the pulse-pounding energy of battle themes, this soundtrack remains a defining part of Breath of the Wild’s legacy.

With these vinyl releases, Nintendo and Laced Records are giving fans a new way to experience the unforgettable sounds of Hyrule. Whether you’re a longtime Zelda fan or a collector chasing rare game soundtracks, this is one release that deserves a place on your shelf.

This is looking mighty attractive, and I may have to add a record player to my setup, I really do want to pick this up and you should to. While I love my digital and CD video game collection, there’s something about listening to it on a record. Lastly, this could make a fantastic, but late, Christmas gift for the Legend of Zelda fan in your life, or maybe just for yourself.
