It’s only been a few days since players first rose up against Azra in Absolum, and Dotemu and Guard Crush Games are taking a moment to thank everyone who joined the fight and teasing about what’s next. In a message shared with the community, Guard Crush, Supamonks, and Dotemu expressed how much the incredible reception has meant to them.
We’ve been watching your streams, reading your reviews, lurking in the Discord, and scouting online articles from the press and beyond,” the team wrote. “We’re honored that the love and work put into the game has been reflected in the scores, feedback, and sentiment from Rebels worldwide.
The developers also took time to thank every player who explored Talamh and offered feedback during launch week. According to the team, community input has already made a big impact on Absolum’s growth.
Every Rebel out there who took time to jump into Talamh and send us their feedback — Absolum would not be what it is today without your efforts.
The devs made it clear that this is only the beginning. They confirmed that a new content patch is already in the works, along with long-term plans for the world of Talamh. “The team is actively working on a new content patch and thinking about the future of Talamh and Absolum in the months and years to come,” they teased. So, if you were worried about the lack of DLC for the game, worry no more.
While no details were shared, they did hint that the update will bring something special to the rebellion. “Here’s the tiniest glimpse of what we’re preparing,” the message said, promising more information soon.
As we can see, this is a new section that lets us further change the difficulty of the game, including making the enemies harder, change if items drop from enemies, have more elite enemies spawn, and more. If you were someone who wanted the game to be just a tad more difficult, then this is what you’re looking for.
The developers are also working on hotfixes for the most common issues reported since launch. They thanked players again for taking the time to share their experiences and encouraged everyone to stay tuned for future updates across Steam, X, Discord, and Bluesky.
“Thank you once more, Rebels. Your support means more than you know. May the Rituals be ever in your favor,” the message concluded.
If you haven’t yet joined the rebellion, check out our Absolum review to see why this game has captured the attention of so many. Personally, I can’t stop playing the game, despite having over 50 hours in the game so far.
